Annual Budget

Prior to May 1 of every year, the Village Board adopts an annual budget for the new fiscal year. The annual Village budget represents a written document presenting the Village’s plan for allocation of the available financial resources into an explicit expenditure plan designed to provide a high level of service to taxpayers of the Village. Furthermore, it is a legal document outlining spending limits during the fiscal year. The annual budget is also a planning tool that identifies possible large purchases, projects, and staffing for the future.
